Shipping

We currently ship within Canada and to the United States and the United Kingdom. For other destinations, please contact hello@midnineteeneightynine.com to enquire about shipping availability.

Orders over $100 CAD before taxes qualify for complimentary shipping. The applicable complimentary shipping option is selected automatically at checkout.

Complimentary shipping covers postage only. Any applicable duties and taxes remain payable.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the package’s weight, dimensions, and destination. Available services, rates, and estimated delivery times are displayed before payment.

Processing

We aim to process orders within 1–3 business days, excluding Canadian statutory holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays enter processing on the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available.

Processing time is additional to the carrier’s estimated delivery time.

Studio Pickup

Studio pickup is available by appointment only.

Once your order is ready, you will receive a Ready for Pickup notification. Please email hello@midnineteeneightynine.com or call or text 416-838-6989 to arrange collection. Unscheduled pickups and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Orders must be collected within 30 days of the Ready for Pickup notification unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon.

If an order remains uncollected after this period, we reserve the right to cancel the order and return the items to inventory after providing a final written notice and an additional seven days for collection.

Any refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Please contact us before the collection deadline if you require additional time.

Studio Accessibility

Our studio is on the second floor and is accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator.

If stairs present a barrier, please contact us before your visit to discuss an accessible alternative. Depending on the items and arrangements required, options may include a ground-floor handoff, virtual appointment, or an off-site viewing at an agreed accessible location.

We aim to accommodate all customers and are happy to discuss individual access needs.

Delivery

Once dispatched, shipments are handled by the carrier. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by service disruptions, customs processing or other delays.

If you require an order by a specific date, please contact us before purchasing. Allow for both order processing and estimated transit time.

For missing, damaged, or significantly delayed shipments, please email hello@midnineteeneightynine.com with your order number. We will review the tracking and delivery information and initiate a carrier investigation where appropriate. For damaged shipments, please retain all packaging and provide photographs of the damage.

Refunds or replacements will be assessed based on the circumstances and applicable consumer protection requirements.

International Orders

United States

U.S. orders ship via Canada Post on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. Applicable import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, including on orders that qualify for complimentary shipping.

United Kingdom

UK orders are subject to applicable VAT and customs charges. Amounts collected at checkout are displayed before payment. Any import duties, import VAT or carrier clearance fees payable upon arrival are the recipient’s responsibility.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect when published. The policy in effect at the time of purchase applies to your order.
